Notification color

Hi, on my galaxy A50 i was able to get everything to dark mode including notifications but i can't seem to get the notifications to be dark mode. Is there a way to do this? I'm also using nova launcher.

Hey mustang, you had answered my other posts lol cool to see you again! I’m talking about the pixel 3 now, I actually went and changed my a50 for the pixel 3, the camera is such a big improvement for me.

Oh ok , thought was you , definitely won't be disappointed with pixel camera.

Ya so far took a few pictures for work and I’m loving it, gotta play with the brightness a little but overall an improvement!

Ya for some reason my notifications are white along with the settings background.

You try developer settings turn on system wide dark mode? Go to phone software and tap build number 7 times if you didn't Know

I gave that a try and I saw nothing with dark mode, I enabled night mode but saw no difference.


If you don’t mind me asking also, is the pixel recommended to charge it to 80-92% as well and not let it go under 40%?

Strange , for battery I think from 20 to 95 should be sweet spot, once in a while 5 to 100 to calibrate the battery.

Ya it’s odd, I’m very new to android but I got it to work on the a50 so I’m surprised that I can’t get it this time. I’m even using nova launcher but no luck.

I looked through everything but can’t seem to find anything that looks like it would change it to black. Worst case in August I’ll have it in the Q update.

Can be anywhere between 20 and 95, the worse thing is letting go dead the battery , but look at it this way your only going get 2 to 3 years out of the phone battery before a new replacement is needed so just stay in that range you should be fine , me personally on my phones 5 to 95 haven't seen issue .

Maybe the Samsung a50 dark mode works better than the pixel 3

Ah maybe, I haven’t tested because I don’t have Q but I heard it’s a system wide dark mode!

It is system dark mode in Q , I like Samsung dark mode also ,as I'm using it on my S10+ ,note 9, and s9+.
