Hey All,

I reset my phone due to the batter being whacky after I got Jelly Bean. Now every time I click to turn off my 'Mobile Data' I get a warning "You will no longer be able to use applications such as Internet, Email, and YouTube via mobile networks. Continue?"

Does anyone know how to disable this? I've looked all over the settings but have yet to find a solution.

Thanks for your help!

I always turn it off in the Notification Bar pulldown and I never get any message. Try that.

Don't worry about that stupid message. Just uncheck in the data options and you'll be fine. You'll still be able to use all the apps without any problems. And the LTE will come on whenever you're in the coverage area.

I get this same notification and its irritating me actually. When i had my note 3 it didnt have this. What can be done?

this is a very annoying notification;
the only fix i found is clicking on it until the (i) appears then click on that , and disable show notifications ;
that workedd on an xperia Z3

Regards

There is an application that can disable this nortification. Called GO Speed you only need to disable nortifications of GO Speed to. Worked on my Xperia aqua

Same here!

I'm on Prepay, (contract would be a wasted expense), use wifi at home (and have to be careful about data roaming). Signal here isn't strong enough for any data. Can't send an MMS, and receiving one is a nuisance - there's no way I can retrieve whatever they've tried to send, (or find out what it was without asking them), and having data off appears to have put a stop to that timewasting.

But I'm constantly being warned that mobile data's off, so I 'may not be able to send and receive MMS'! (What is this - Android or Windoze?)

Now, a warning that something's turned the data ON - that would be more like it (ideally, just something like 'Data's on", without an explanation of the dangers of being on the internet).
