Notification flash

How can I turn off the light (led) flash when I get incoming text messages?

Go into Settings, Display, and you will see the Notification LED option on or off but you can press it and it will open a new window to customize the LED.

sorry to cut in but I have the same problem and did your suggestions,I have unmarked all the options but still the Flash comes on with incoming texts

The flash as in camera flash?
If so, go into Accessibility and you will find an option to turn of the flash for notifications and calls .
