First post here with this device! Greetings all! Got my HTC One almost two weeks ago through Ting's service. Fantastic phone and service! There is a really minor issue but I feel like I'm either losing my mind or something's unfortunately fishy with this fantastic new phone. When I first got it I remember finding something that allowed me to view my notification history, distinctly remember it being in the shortcut section but figures the day I actually need it I can't find it and the considering how much I've searched I'm beginning to question whether I imagined it or not. ;]

Thanks for reading and for any assistance! :]

what do you mean by notification history?

you want to browse every single past notification pushed by apps?

Thanks for the reply! To answer your question I remember distinctly selecting a shortcut icon that simply said notifications and it listed all the notifications I had cleared for about the past twenty or so. It's not so much that this is a vital need, it's that it's freaking me out that I can no longer locate it nor does the internet seem to contain any clues.

well if it helps you keep your mental health i have not come across such an app or feature.

i doubt there is one on the playstore but you never know!

frankly i fail to see the purpose of this, since for the most part, expired and/or dismissed notifications are useless and, most importantly, i do not think they are stored in your phone for this purpose - maybe in the cache but nowhere else that could be easily accessible.

Yes well I must mention that I possess a fantastic memory haha so this is the reason for my questioning. I actually put this shortcut on my homescreen as an icon and eventually added it to a folder then deleted the folder the other day and it's been missing since. As for its usefulness actually it can be really useful, many times notifications are truncated with an ellipse at the end but in this notification history section I was able to see more iirc. I appreciate your help but I'm sure I'm not crazy seems too coincidental that it went missing when I deleted that folder but it's also odd doing so could cause any permanent effect. Hopefully someoneelse stumbled upon this too and can shed some light on things otherwise this will just remain another of life's odd mysteries. ;]

well since you seem to be very passionate and sure about this feature i ran a quick google search and there is in fact a hidden feature in 4.3 that allows you to browser your notification history.
