Anyway m8, need to give up a little more info. Things like you rooted, if so what rom.... Also have you installed any new apps??? Maybe something that has something to do with "systems"? Maybe an app that monitors the inner going one of your eVo?

I ask that cause a lot of monitoring apps have icons that place themselves in the notification bar. As well as apps that have to be running in the background.

Maybe look in your app manager an see what kind of apps are running, you may get lucky an find the same icon there.

I am running stock but just upgraded to 2.3.3

That?s actually when the icon appeared, after I had upgraded. Sorry for the blurry pic, the icon is the same icon as the HtcDmService icon.

I hope they are looking into this......this is a big negative for me..

It was the app Folder Organizer. I use the feature ?show items in the notification bar? for my Bluetooth settings. Once I removed that option, the icon disappeared
