Notification issue S9

Hello,

I made the switch to S9 from S8 and I couldn't be happier. Small changes that make the use of the phone so much better !

I only have one issue that I can't resolve.

On the left you can see my S8 with the notification coming from top. I would like to have it on my S9 as well but as you can see the notifications are different.
I can't seem to find the setting. Has this been changed/deleted or am I looking in the wrong place?

I've checked every setting with both devices at the same time but cannot find anything.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated !

On the S9, it looks like you probably have Edge lighting enabled. This replaces regular drop down notifications.

You can go to Settings -> Display -> Edge Screen and disable "Edge lighting".

Tried this just now and it works !
What a strange setting that enables this in my opinion.
