Notification LED

I went to Verizon to check out the M and I couldn't get the phone to showe the notification LED? I can see it has one in the top left corner and the owners manual says it has one too? Mine is on its way. Anyone that has one are you seeing a led light when you charge the phone or get an email or text?

Yes, there is one in the top left corner. See the "Got my today" thread for some details with my experimenting with Light Flow Lite to control the LED.

My version doesn't light the LED, while charging (phone power on or off). Not sure if it's working as intended, or not. Light Flow is working pretty well (lights when charging too). One thing I've missed about Moto phones...LED colors.

I'm using HandCent SMS and K-9 Mail and without messing with any settings, my LED lights up blue for text messages and white for e-mails.

I'm using Handcent and K-9 on a Galaxy S3 with 4.1.1 and can't get the LED to light or flash. Can you suggest some settings I need to change?
