Does the Verizon version have to the notification light? Can't find it anywhere in the settings

I was just going through the same issue with my phone. The notification light doesn't come on for texts or emails. It did light up white when a call came in though. I was just going to return it thinking mine was defective but I guess it isn't. What's the deal then?

Weird. Mine is working and it's amazing. Lemme check my settings.

Mine is working, although I wish I could change the settings on it. Maybe colors or blink rate or something. It will go a second or two in the off position. I'd like to be able to do a quick glance at the phone to see if I have anything, but I guess I'll have to stare a little longer.

Actually seems like 4 second off, 1 second flash. Don't like that at all.

I turned off my screen and sent myself an email from work. I heard the notification but didn't check it right away. Two or three minutes later the pulse started flashing. It may be on a intentional short delay, or the delay may be a bug. It looks like a pulse every 8 seconds or so.

I think there's an app in the market that let's you customize it. Kellex from Droid Life talked about it a little. Can't remember what it is called.

Rabble rabble rabble.

Color me a moron, I was looking for the notification light up at the top. It's the dead center on the bottom. And it works.

yeah i was going to check the market but I have absolutely no service in my work building. Is the notification light at the bottom invisible, like I can't even see a spot on the phone where it would be, unlike the top of the phone where I can see the spot for the automatic brightness sensor.

Correct. Unless its flashing you can't tell its there.

Same thing happened to mine. That is weird. Try turning the pulse notification off and then back on. Mine is lighting up now.

I can't get mine to work for , other than the white/incoming call one.

Tried Blink and Light Flow from the market and the LED doesn't respond to either.

i think the app is called LED Tester... not sure if it can modify settings of the LED, but you can probably test it...
