Another new one. Top line blacked out. Comes back eventually, but who knows what triggers it.

That might have to do more with the system trying to automatically adjust the status bar appearance based on the wallpaper color. Try experimenting with different wallpapers -- does it turn black only with relatively light-colored backgrounds?

Good thought but I've seen it before with other wallpapers. Very inconsistent.

Hmm. Do you have Themed Icons turned on? If so, see if it still happens if you turn that off.

Nope, stock.

Go to wallpaper and chose basic color and see if it goes back to normal

Nope don't use them. But it's back to normal now anyway

I have this bug. I find I can sometimes replicate it, if I go into an app that forces the time to from white to black. So something full screen. Another cool bug from Google!!
