Notification Noise Quit Working

Hey all.

Just in the last couple days, my phone notifications will randomly stop making noise, and it will do it several times throughout the day. In order to get them back it requires a restart of the phone each time it does it. This morning I found out that its also causing my alarm to not work.

Contacted Sprint and all they did was some profile update, but who knows if that will really do anything.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried uninstalling your apps and then reinstalling 1 by 1 to see which might be the problem?

Do you have Words With Friends, Scramble With Friends or Draw Something on your phone by chance?

Hi KahneFan, I just wrote in the thread i saw you posted too, lol.

I do have draw something, and did have scramble with friends until I saw your thread. Are you still having probs?

I am not. I can not confirm that it is 1 of these 3 programs, but, they were the main 3 programs which I had on my phone each time it happened. I have reinstalled all other apps and my phone has been fine. I am slowly bringing these 3 back on to see if it was one of them. However, if you do have these and could uninstall them (restart) and it started working, we would know for sure.

for me the culprit was most definitely scramble with friends. after removing it, i dont have the issue anymore at all.
