Notification Panel Black

Did Google update and allow a dark theme and I've been under a rock, or did I change a setting I can't seem to find?

Pixel 2 arrived yesterday after I came home from a 12-hr shift and was busy taking care of some family matters for a couple hours after that. In my sleepy haze while in bed, I set up the phone; at first it had the usual disgustingly-white brightness all over the place, of course. But I realized this morning that my notification panel is nicely black now.

I don't see what I changed. Does anyone else have it black? Night Mode is off, inversion is off.

Got it! Thank you! Haha. I did in fact change to the earth background at some point last night. That explains it.

Keeping a black background for sure now.
