Notification Question for email

I have ny phone set to vibrate. Whenever I get an email my phone vibrates. I don't want that to happen.

I am using an email program called K-9 mail.
If I set notifications off in the email program then I get no notification at all. I just want the icon to appear. That is how it worked in all my other devices, including phones and tablets.

I have it set to give me a notification icon in the notification area and all sounds off in K-9. It appears that when any notification is sent to the notification area the phone vibrates.

I can't find anything in the phone settings to turn this off. Very annoying to have vibration every email.

If you uncheck 'notifications' under the email settings, then you'll get no vibration. That's how I have mine set. I get so many emails I see no point in being notified time and again.

Where do you find email settings?

I am not using the stock email app. I am using K-9 email.
