Notification sound and vibration

Hey AC,

I've been using my Pixel for two days now and I realized that for any notification, it'll either make the same sound twice or vibrates twice. Is there a way to disable this?

I prefer getting a single vibration or sound for each notification.

They asked me and I told them that after working around operating jet engines for 30+ years I was somewhat hard of hearing and that the extra audio might help me actually notice the alert. Sorry, I thought you knew...

The double sound does not happen, It was only the double vibration.

How about if we just consider it a feature?

Diddy, I'm disappointed in you - that app is rated less than 4.0 in the Google Play Store. And quite a few of the comments indicate that the wheels came off with the introduction of Android 8 (Oreo). Tsk, Tsk.

Oh well. It was the only app I could find with a Google search. You never know, it might still work for the OP. I'd also point out that at least people aren't dinging it for annoying ads, and that the dev actually seems to be paying attention (with responses to some reviews, anyway).

EDIT: Wait, now I remember -- Light Flow is supposed to give the user control over the vibration patterns as well!
