Notification sound but no notification? 🤔

Ever since I got the latest update (1 week ago), I've been getting notification sounds but no information about which app triggers it, or what system action goes in the background - nothing appears in the notification bar.

It goes off every few minutes, every hour - every day. A week now.

So far I've tried the following:
Turned off notification reminder
Turn off all app notifications
Reset all preferences
Mute/Unmute all sounds
Powercycle
Verbally threatened my phone

When I try to put my phone on Silent Mode at night, the notification comes through as a vibration anyway! This **** keeps me up at night and is causing minor anxiety.

Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to stop it?

Hi , welcome!
You can try going into safe mode , and exit out of it and for some has cured this .

I just did what you suggested 10 mns ago and...no notifications yet. It's the longest I went without so far. Thanks a lot, hope this works

If it comes back, see if turning off NFC makes it go away.
