Notification Sounds

I'm one of those people that likes different sounds for different apps. But I've noticed any time I change the sound in Twitter or the stock message app, it immediately reverts back to the default. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Are you changing to a preinstalled tone, or a custom tone that you saved to the phone? If the latter, is it saved to Internal Storage or the SD card? Make sure it's in the Notifications directory on Internal Storage.
