Notification - Vibrate until I look

Hey guys, I don't know if this has been answered before (couldn't find it easily) but it's driving me insane!

If I receive a text, or an email... my phone will vibrate until I check it. Every 30ish seconds, it will vibrate. Is there a way to set it that it only vibrates when I receive the text, and not again? It's to the point where I don't want to charge my phone next to my bed at night =(

Any help is appreciated!!!

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Accessibility​, and make sure Notification Reminders is turned off.
