Can start with basic like resarting your device , if that don't help we can try other stepsOn my Galaxy S7 all of a sudden my notification light, sound and vibration do not work. How do I fix?
Sadly I have restarted it many times. This has been going on now for about two weeks
It's ok , restart your phone before the screen comes on hold volume up and power button same time , there will be a menu pops up scroll with the volume buttons to select Clear Cache then hit power button to initiate it , then choose restart in same menu.Sorry about my wording. How do I clear cache in recovery?
You didn't do it correctlySorry, company came over and then went to bed. Going to try now and let you know. So I have tried twice and don't get anything other than the normal home screen.
No notification? Which message app your using?I am having the same problem recently (started two days ago out of nowhere). It's the messages (text) app that is having the problem, and I made absolutely no changes to the settings. I restarted, did the clear cache in recovery mode, and am still having the problem. Any other ideas?
Your case , maybe try resetting app preference. In settings >apps>3 Dots upper right corner tapYes I tried safe mode.
And I'm using the factory Message app.
I can send messages with no problem. I receive messages, I just don't receive any sort of notification that I have a message.
