Notifications Bar

Here I am with a silly question again..

I attempted to upload a photo to Facebook and originally it did not go through, now I have the stupid "!" icon in the notifications bar. When I drag it down and click the error message, I then click ok, it goes back to home but the icon is still there! How do I get rid of it?
