Notifications don't sound over headphones?

Not sure if this is a problem, or a skyrocket thing, or a Samsung thing, but notification sounds don't go through my headphones. The headphones are connected and working, because I use them to listen to music. When I get a notification, the music pauses and then starts back up after the notification. The phone ringer rings through the headphones, so it is just the notifications.

I've never tried it. But, as a test, turn the notifications volume higher in settings. And then perform a notification test, by emailing yourself or something...

Thanks for the reply. Yes, the volume is at the correct levels. In fact, I have taken the headphones out of my ears (while still plugged into the phone) and heard the notification sounding out the phone speaker.
