Notifications during while listening to Music

Hello all,

I'm sick of my phone pausing in the middle of a song anytime I get a notification (any notification makes no difference). Is there any way to turn that off? I have looked all over the phone but haven't been able to find it. This is especially annoying when I'm using my Couch to 5K running app from Active.com. Everytime I get a notification it not only pauses the music but also lowers the volume until the next running segment. Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you tried putting the phone on silent or vibrate?

I have not....didn't really think about that. I might try that. Thanks for the idea.

Putting it on silent has always worked for me. However, it's still an inconvenience having to switch to silent every time I listen to music. #firstworldproblems

With the LLAMA app, you can program it so if you insert headphones, to put your phone automatically on vibrate.
Then you can program it again, so if the headphones are removed to put your phone sound settings back to normal.
