Notifications interfering with music.

Every time I listen to music through the phone speakers the music seems to dim every time I get a notification which is quite annoying. Is there anyway to stop this happening?

i seen this as a problem even with my S8 plus I think this is an issue with the Os itself and not the phone.

I've found one way of not getting the music to dim I've gotta have my phone on vibrate not silent or sound. It worked yesterday while I was working & listening to music.

turn on "do not disturb"and configure it for ''calls only''

I think that is an Android system setting that cannot be changed. It happened to all of my Android phones. I do like the suggestion above my post! That's a good idea if you are working out or at work and just need music playing.

yup, just turn on "do not disturb" mode and all will be fine.
