notifications not working

Single swipe down (notifications) or double swipe down( Quick Settings) has stopped working. Any ideas.

I am also experiencing the same problem, I tried update my contact and attached a photo with my contact information, then I tried swiping down the notification, but the notification would not budge.
Checked some sites, some sites suggested that we press on the notification bar for a few seconds and then scroll even that did not work.
Only resolution to this problem is restarting the phone and that seems to work pretty fine .

Any updates on this would be welcome.

^^he means rebooting. I'm not following you guys. What roms are you using? I've never had an issue witht the notification/status bar or toggles on any of the builds I've flashed.

I am using a straight from the box Nexus 4, with 4.2.2 upgrade

A restart/reboot did it. Thanks

Any ideas what happened. the only app I have downloaded was WiFi Analyzer
