Question Notifications & quick panel screens

Hi all. I’ve noticed that when using a Home Screen wallpaper downloaded from backdrops app, I get this strange ‘blurry blob’ on the above screens. If I revert to an image from my gallery, this blob disappears. Is this normal please?

It sounds like something is up with the image you downloaded. I have some questions:
1. What phone is this?
2. What image did you download?
3. How does the phone act when you pull the notification shade down? Does it blur the image?

I think that's because Samsung pull down notifications blur effect on the image

Phone is s23 ultra. The download is a planetary image with deep black background from ‘backdrops’ app. The image shown is from the notification shade.
I am, however advised that this is quite usual to see.
