Notifications suddenly very quiet on Pixel 2 with no change in settings

Just started noticing yesterday that i wasn't hearing my texts, then started paying attention and realized it was all notifications. I've checked every setting and everything should be up as loud as possible. I still have to really strain to hear if i receive a notification.

Welcome to Android Central! If you have your phone set to make sound and vibrate when you get a notification, will your phone still vibrate if you get a notification? Is your phone face-down when you receive notifications? I find that when my Pixel 2 is face-down, I'll hear the vibration moreso than the sound of my notifications.

You can also try booting your phone into Safe Mode to see if the notification issue persists. Keep us posted!
