Notifications take a minute to open after pie update

Is anyone else's Note 8 (Verizon version) having this issue after the Pie update? How can I fix it?
After I pick something to look at on the notification dropdown it takes about a minute for it to open. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Yes, this is happening to me also. Very annoying! Don't know how to correct this. I'm also on Verizon.
