Is anyone having trouble getting notifications with LTE turned off? With AT&T number sync when I answer the phone call on my phone it says I have a missed call on my watch.

Have you checked the Android wear and device settings? Every notification that I get shows up on my wear device

I have nothing on Android where are my Android Wear watch that has anything about notifications.

When I have number sync disabled I don't get no notifications from phone calls or texts from my Galaxy S7 Edge but I get everything else just not my phone calls or text.

When I downloaded Google Messenger I got the notification from it just not stock Samsung messenger.

I'm having the same issue. If I go into the bluetooth settings on my watch and enable phone audio I do get phone calls, but I don't necessarily want phone calls to come out of my watch. I wonder if I answer them via the phone if they'll come out of the watch or the phone.

Google messenger has Android Ware companion app. Most others don't. Also, on the watch, you need to pick the default SMS app.

When I try to select my default SMS app it only shows me Google Messenger it does not show me Samsung messenger.

Because Samsung doesn't provide an AW companion app. Not surprising given Samsung does not do AW on its new watches.
Google messenger get its notifications from Google Messenger app on the phone. If it is not set to default message app on the phone, it won't receiver any text messages by its own.

I have samsung galaxy s6 active and the LG Urbane 2nd Ed. and I get texts just fine on the watch using samsungs native app for texts.
