Nougat messaging bugs?

I found a mention of this in another Samsung forum, but has anyone else had a bug with messaging? I get or send a longer message. Previously, the entire message was visible. Now I get this. Is there a default to set this to always show the entire message? Is this a Nougat "feature" or a Nougat "Bug"?

Nougat "feature". I haven't found a way to change it, stock messaging app, the way it is I think

Your definition and my definition of a "feature" widely differ. Lol. Well, I hope they change it soon. I have some long winded friends. Lol
