Nougat update issue

I have read many bugs before considering Nougat. Some that concern all users, some that confirm a few. "My" bug however, I haven't seen before:

Since Nougat my alarm does not work. I can set it, test it, but the freaking thing just does not ring in the morning. When I look on my device in the morning for example at 6:58 (alarm set for 6.55) the alarm icon is still in the bar and also still "set" for the day. IT JUST DOESN'T RING!

And when I try the option: "Even turn alarm on when phone is switched off" gives me a phone that starts booting 1 minute before the initial alarm should go, but the ALARM DOESN'T GO OFF!

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Things like this typically aren't a bug with Nougat in general. It could be a bug introduced by the manufacturer when it was tweaking the base code for the phone. Or it could be some 3rd party app that's causing a conflict (possibly related to the Nougat update). Does this happen in Safe Mode as well?
