Nova/Android Q

I use Nova Prime but the gestures didn't work properly with Android Q beta and I switched to the Pixel browser. Gestures work but I lost my Contact icons I had on my home page. When I try to add them, Contacts says it's already made the icons.

I deleted the cache for Contacts and that didn't do it.

I believe Contacts but where can I find them to move to my home page?

I don't use this feature but gave it a try just now and had no issue opening contacts app , highlighting one and then pressing the put on homescreen option. Worked fine.
Pixel2 running pixel launcher.
