Just wanted to recommend the Nova launcher if you have done the ICS update.
My phone is still unrooted and running the original LG ICS update. I love the look and feel of the original Jelly Bean on my Nexus 7 and wanted to replicate it on my phone. The Nova launcher did that and much more. It is actually faster than the stock UI while adding so many options. Before my home page would redraw icons when exiting facebook or chrome with the stock launcher. File size is 2.4 M and is smaller than other similar launchers. You can reduce the number of home screens to clean things up and speed things up; with the folder option, I have my Black down to 2 screens.
Plus, it's free. Try it if you have ICS. I'm sorry I didn't try it sooner. I don't really feel the need to root anymore.
