I downloaded my Nova prime and I can find out how to turn off navigation bar.

Does it still not support gesture navigation on the LG V60?

The option to hide the navigation bar in Nova went away with Android 10. And Nova can't support Android 10 gestures at this time either. :/

That depends on the OEM. Some brands have managed to allow navigation gestures with custom launchers after Android 10. OnePlus or Pixel enabled this feature a long time ago. Samsung did the same very recently with their OneUI 2.5 update. Other brands like Moto or, it seems, LG haven't joined the trend so far.

The main culprit for that incompatibility is Google, though.

This would be Nova Launchers issue as LG does have gestures in their stock launcher. I'm only looking to move Launchers due to icon packs that's but gestures work just fine in LG home

It's the same with every custom launcher. Google changed the way that gestures and the Recent apps overview arr handled, closing the door for them. Some OEMs implemented a workaround and gesture navigation works, not perfectly though.

Thank you for that information. I was responding based on both LG's I have and dangit LG has not joined that trend yet.

Just go into phone settings and turn on gestures. It works mostly fine with Nova. I'm using them on Action Launcher right now, but it also worked with Nova, although not as well. The only thing I noticed is that when you switch from dark mode to light or vice versa it will turn Navigation buttons on. You have go back in and turn them off in that instance

I will give this a try! I was looking in Nova settings for this. Thank you

And there you go. It seems that LG joined the trend after all. :)

So that's what was going on. I didn't realize that switching light mode/dark mode was causing that.

Since we are discussing Nova launcher I hope this question is ok here.

Are there any problems with using Nova launcher while using the dual screen accessory? Thanks

Nope, other than the fact that the 2nd screen will use the stock launcher

So I have gotten gestures to work on Nova it was simple.

But now if I plug my phone in to my truck for Android auto it forces navigation buttons back on the phone.

I also get a notification saying that the system has made changes to the UI when this happens.
