Nova Launcher

[gotta have it android]

I have Nova Launcher Prime and installed the unread count plug in and my text messaging app is always showing the number 4 on it. Is there anyway for me to fix this?

I had it installed when I first switched to Nova Launcher Prime, but found that I didn't really need it. So I uninstalled it. I seem to remember I had the same problem, but don't remember if I solved it or not. I suggest you check the notification list in the app settings to see what you have checked to see what's turned on. You may have something checked that you don't want to be notified about. That's the only brilliant idea I can come up with. lol Otherwise, you can try uninstall/install to see if that clears it.
