Nova or Apex like actions in with Stock Touchwiz UI

I'm using Nova launcher right now and have been very happy with it but would like to move back to the stock UI.

I was wondering if there was a way to mimic the Nova Actions that you get with the Nova launcher (and Apex). In Nova, you can create a icon shortcut to Recent Apps and the Default screen. I need to be able to place these in the regular dock on the UI. Is there any way to do it in the regular UI? (or am I just whistling dixie?....)

I've got to believe that if Nova or Apex features were available in TW then they wouldn't be able to sell their programs although there MAY be some duplicatable features.

I thought that Nova was just making actions available that already existed in ICS but were hidden by Touchwiz. Was hoping to fiind a way to just bring those 2 ICS features back to TW.

Would be nice to have quick access to home and recent apps without having to hit the center button. Mine is pretty stiff and it's a pain because I have to switch apps a lot.

Sounds like you would probably prefer to be using Nova or Apex to me...
