Now, CWM in reverse!

So my fiancee had to get a new Epic after dropping it and breaking the glass...

She went ahead and upgraded the stock to GB, and she's not liking things like keyboard lag, etc.

She's not convinced, however, that she'll like GB-based ROMs more than SRF 1.2... But she'd like to try...

If I go ahead and root, install ACS ICS or Legendary, but she doesn't like it, can I just flash her old CWM back on there, wipe and install her Nandroid backup from before the breakage?

Or is this an Odin-back-to-stock situation?

I think if you stay on a standard GB rom you should be able to restore a Nandroid backup of the previous steup. If you flash a MTD version rom you will get close to 700mb of internal storeage but you must Odin back with repartition checked to get back to a BML rom.

Sounds spot on to me. More and more roms are switching to MTD as well. My own personal rom should be just days from an MTD release if all goes well with my testers.

But you may want to experiment with BML roms first, just out of simplicity.
