Will another device with Sense UI, but running on 2.1, help out the Sense UI/Droid ROM?

What's your thoughts, everyone?

the sense rom on the droid is from a 2.1 device, i don't really see it helping much more than what's there. but i could be wrong.

i think what would help the droid port would be a device with the same hardware as the droid running sense, so the drivers could be used and whatnot.
