Now, my speaker took a dump on me.

Yep, i got it back from sprint after they fixed my kickstand in under an hour, i get home and start using my phone and... wait a minute theres no sound from my speaker!

I can get sound from my headset and earpiece, but nothing from the speaker.

Suggestions? Or am i in for another 1 1/2 trip to the sprint repair center in san diego?

Pull battery and reboot? (if you havent tried this already)

Try a different ROM or apply a nand backup from when it was working.

Unroot and go back to stock and see if it works. You will have to do this anyway if you go back to Sprint. No giving it to them with no battery for this problem.

Wouldn't surprise me if they screwed it up when they had it apart to fix your kickstand.

Just read that you got a new camera lense willing to bet the wire was either broke or knocked loose when they opened it up.

My speaker almost blew out my eardrum, was listening to Pandora on the train with the speaker phone right up against my ear (forgot headphones). The low battery beep blasted right in my ear, still can't hear fully.

The guy also said I might be able to swap it for an epic so idk...

Might need a hard reset, but hopefully not! That happened with my Droid also. I made a call one afternoon and later that evening someone called, I answered with the speaker and they couldn't hear me (but I could hear them). Then i tried to play music through my speaker and both in and out were gone. All I could do was reset.

Omg you have to go that far for a Sprint store?

Yeah thats what im worried about, i can do some deving (rom kitchens and little stuff) but i love the kind of quality roms for the evo.

I really dont know what im gonna get, the epics screen is amazing and i do like the keyboard that i miss from my old messaging dumb phone.

My head hurts, booze needed....
