Our P2 and P2XL phones now have the Now Playing feature. Does anyone know if enabling this will create any significant memory buildup/consumption in Storage over time? Maybe its no big deal. Just curious.

It's been on mine since day 1 (in January), I don't think I've seen any negative impact, even on battery life.

I've always had the now playing feature, wasn't it a launch feature?

That said I love it, very handy at times and I've used it to sound smart when out with people and someone says "what's this song?" and I rattle it off and sound awesome and I never tell them how I knew lol. I also get a chuckle when I'm playing music in the car and it tells me the song I already picked to play lol.

The "Now Playing" feature has been a component of my Pixel 2 XL from the time I purchased it in March; but unless I'm mistaken, the "Now Playing History" feature was not available on my device until yesterday, after we received the November update.

Perhaps the OP meant that we now have the history itself available, which up until now we've had to use 3rd party applications to access?

Cool! I didn't know this was added. Thanks for mentioning it. Any other new features added with the update?

Yup Now playing history is whats new. I would assume that history is stored in the cloud so I don't think it'll take up space on your phone. I could be wrong tho.
