It adds a crosshatched texture, but still a bit slick since the skin is vinyl.

I ordered the leather finish. I figured that might be a little more tacky than the other patterns. If it's still as slippery as the bare phone I won't use it because that's why I'm trying it. I like the bare phone, but am willing to give that up if the skin helps protect me from a deadly drop.......
