This is the LG G Watch R | Android Central

I sorta like the looks of it, but yet, it looks like just any other watch you see out there. The thing I liked about the 360 was the simplistic and definitely different design of the watch, hate it or love it, it does look different. There's the issue about the "display driver"...the black bar at the bottom of the screen that LG needly covered up with the big bezel around it....I have one of those bezels on my Tag, I wonder if it's functional, I know I never use it on my current watch. The sacrificed .2" by doing that and achieving the totally round display... was it worth the trade? Hm... I think I rather have the bigger screen, then again, the resolution of the R is listed as 320 x 320 so it would have a higher ppi than the 360 which has a bigger screen and lower resolution (because of the black bar).

It all comes down to the features that aren't listed. Will it have wireless charging? If it doesn't how weird is the charging solution? My guess is that it will be similar to the G Watch which is ok I guess, but not as spiffy as the wireless charging used for the 360.

Price.... something tells me this thing will cost more than the G watch since it's more than a slab of plastic with a band on it. The G Watch was 230, so.... 250 for the R? What's it made of, are we looking at metal or plastic?

The choice is definitely harder now. I guess it all comes down to price, features, wireless charging or not and real world look and feel. We only saw some leak specs for the 360 which mentioned a lcd display vs a OLED, so that's another unknown since it wasn't confirmed and not all specs Best Buy lists are totally accurate. The other question is the Ti processor in the 360 and it's battery life.

Next week will be exciting, I am still very much on the fence.

I really like the design of the LG, it looks very close to a traditional watch for me. I really wasn't bothered by the cut out section of the moto so having a complete display on the LG also doesn't phase me. The big draw card for me is the P-OLED display and their claim that it will be visible in sunlight.

What's the word on the 360s display, I read all kinds of conflicting things. The main thing I took away from all the videos I saw was that everyone liked the display. Hopefully someone will comment on outdoor visibility next week.

The LG R display is 1.3" while the Moto 360 display is 1.5". As a big old guy, I want the biggest display I can get. Also, the LG R doesn't list an ambient light sensor in its specs, which I'm guessing is how they were able to keep the full circle display.
