I pretty much just want to comfirm here that my phone is junk.
My ns4g was completely stock. A few months ago I updated to ICS over the air. It was pretty nice for about a week or two when my phone started freezing up all the time. I then made a habit or popping out the battery and restarting the phone ten times a day. Eventually I came to the point where it would freeze at the google startup logo for infinity. Tried recovery and I get the android when a red exclamation point. Returning to factory settings, clearing cache, none of that helped. And since I can't boot the phone to go to settings and enable usb debugging, I feel my options are very limited. My phone will absolutely not go into download mode but instead will show a glitched unlock bootloader screen. So no download mode. In fastboot mode, when I enter the command 'fastboot oem unlock' when I go the yes option the phone again freezes infinitely. So I can't unlock the bootloader.

SO just to confirm, is it safe to safe to say my phone has gone to hell or what?
(I went back to my old htc hero. I remember when that thing seemed cutting edge..haha)

I have the same exact problem... phone stays frozen during booting up with the google thing in the middle.... any ideas how to solve that?? got download mode to work but odin still not able to unlock the device
