Hey y'all, think they'll work the bugs out? We just bought our gear s2's yesterday, main reason was for the numbersync bc of fishing and working out, it would be so so so nice to leave our phones at home. But it just won't stay connected. We each have the s2 and the edge plus through att. I'm not sure if we should return or wait it out, the watch itself is pretty cool regardless, but without the numbersync idk it's it worth the extra 20 a month for them. Bit then again the feature just came out so surely they SHOULD work the bugs out soon, right?

also, any good websites for new bands? I'm jealous of all the pretty bands the classic seem to have, i've been having problems finding a pretty s2 band though

I got numbersync updated to my Gear S2 when it was released earlier this week. I've had zero issues with it until today and now numbersync isn't working at all. It has to be an AT&T server issue. I've done everything I know how to do hoping for a solution but no luck. In the meantime, you can deactivate numbersync on your AT&T account online and then deactivate it on your watch and revert back to call forwarding for now.

Thanks leighton, we went back to att to switch out our phones bc we just felt the edge+ were too fragile, we asked about the watches and they said to just keep up with the updates and they'll eventually work the bugs out, now my husbands works but not mine. So not fair lol, but I'm sure it'll be working in no time, with cal forwarding, can you leave your phone in the truck while you're at the gym or out on the lake or whatever? Or does it need to be near the watch? I wasn't too sure how that works so I haven't turned it on yet

When you turn the call forwarding on you do not need to be near your phone. But it can "sometimes" be hit and miss. Before NumberSync came out, I was using the call forwarding and it worked just fine when I wasn't near my phone. Only difference is when you're not near your phone, if you call out or send a message, the watch's number shows instead of your number.

I too had issues with NumberSync at first, but after several resets and retries on setting it up, I finally got it to work for both my husband and I. I have a Note Edge and he has an S6.
