NumberSync not working all the time

So I have the AT&T Gear S3 and have set up NumberSync. Lately, I've noticed that whenever it disconnects from Bluetooth, NumberSync gets turned off and won't come back on until I restart the watch. Does anybody else have this issue and/or know how to fix it?

On a side note, it seems to also take a long time to reconnect to my Galaxy S5 via Bluetooth.
