Nvidia Shield Tablet only Charges to 99%

I really like my new Nvidia Shield Tablet, however it only charges to 99%. Even when the LED light turns green, its only 99%. I have the app battery doctors which has three stages of charging. It says its on the continuous charge mode and that it will go to trickle charge in 1 minutes, however it never happens. Is there some way I can fixthis, or calibrate the battery. I seem to remember that on and iPad if you fully ran the the charge down to nothing and then fully charged it without using it, it would fix it. I might try this on the weekend, but I would appreciate any advice\feedback. I'm running Android Lollipop.
