It will be interesting to see their review.

With that said I have also read other articles saying it is more like Touchwiz 2.5 than 3. That article claims though that "Despite the lack of the latest Touch Wiz interface, according to Sprint, the interface is faster and less obtrusive compared to HTC Sense." so I guess that could be good or bad how you look at it.

Also about the 4g/wifi situation, 4g allows the use of voice and data to run simultaneously so I dont see why wifi would still need to be on as 4g provides both.

(Froyo v2.2 is estimated to be about 7-8 weeks away.) Thats a long wait. Maybe they are running 2.5 cause 3.0 has problems . Once they fix the issues itwill be push to the phone. 2 MORE WEEKS !!! YEA BOY !!!

I think the reviewer is mixed up in the Qik video section at the bottom of the paragraph. The evo is the one with the squished look to it and also the one with the drab colors. Am I wrong?

The big picture on the EVO comes from the Epic. So the squished picture on the EVO is due to the Epic camera (is what they are saying).

And the big picure on the Epic is from the EVO, and it has better colors and such.

Whatever it is, BGR says that it is faster than the Captivate, which is fine with me. I bet Launcher Pro will make it even faster.

The Epic is showing the image coming from the EVO. So the picture on on the Epic, that looks nicer, originates from the EVO. So the EVO is taking video at a higher quality than the Epic.

But if the person using the EVO was also using an Epic then both would have a lower quality experience. The Epic seems nicer, but it is because the EVO sent it nicer.

If Im using wifi why the heck would I ever need 4g? You will never find the perfect phone with everything perfect, but the epic is the closest thing to perfect that will be on the market IMHO. Granted Im jealous of the iphones screen resolution, semi jealous of sense UI, the droid 2's storage capabilities. But then again I think the epic is an all around good package. Cant wait! My mom, brother and I are bringing the sprint people doughnuts for the launch day.

But both screens are 480 x 800 and the Epic's is smaller, so of course it's going to look more blurry on the Evo. Hmm.....

Necessary? No, thats why I'm getting this phone. Would I flash another ROM to gain some things? Absolutely. Its necessary to flash another ROM on a Hero, which is why I dislike it (I actually love the ROM I'm using, makes the time go by so much easier). If Sprint optimized the phone like the hackers and community have, it would be a much nicer phone.

That and it is also being transmitted to a better screen. So the results are slightly exaggerated. How does the same video look EVO to EVO?

Also note how the evo is stretching the epic video. I think that's completely unfair for a comparison. They need to either change the qik settings, or make calls epic to epic and evo to evo to compare.
