October update already for Unlocked Flip3 on AT&T

Had a new update waiting this morning that brought me to October 1 security patch.

My Z Flip3 is factory unlocked on AT&T in KC area.

I'm seeing what I think is a new feature under Advanced Features called "Call & text on other devices"

"Call and text from your Galaxy watch, tablet, or speaker using this phone's number and mobile plan. Calls require both devices to be on the same wi-fi network."

I do not see this on my N20U which is on the September update. Seems useful for tablet or speaker, but watch you can already do that with BT.

I had that on my S21 and it is on the Z Flip as well. Not new with this update.

I'm with US unlocked phone from Samsung on Verizon network and i see the feature

Purchased from Verizon store, and I dont have it.

It sounds like carrier branded phones, at least Verizon, does not have that feature. Unlocked phones do. The unlocked Flip3 may have had it before the Oct update, I just don't recall seeing it.

The "Call and Text" on other devices is in Advanced Features Settings. It is not new to the Z Flip 3. I had it on my S21. Both phones though (S21 and Flip) are unlocked and purchased from Samsung direct.
