Odd rapid battery usage.

So I had an odd rapid battery usage earlier today. I went from in 90's percentage to 76% really quick and I noticed when I took my phone out of my pocket it was warm. Looked at the usage and it showed Tapatalk using a lot of battery and it wasn't even open so I force stopped the app and restarted my phone and it has been normal now but any reason on why that might have happened?

Either you tapped the icon when you were putting it in your pocket, or some other app was using a process in Tapatalk (which might happen if you have another "connect to a forum" app).

Tapatalk is the only forum app I have and the phone was locked when I put it in my pocket.
