Yesterday I upgraded from the stone ages and got a shiny new razr m. Very happy with the phone so far, but a couple weird things...
1. I can't connect to any wifi networks. I couldn't connect to my home network and I figured it was just my crappy internet, but then I couldn't connect at a BWW's either. It just says "Obtaining IP address" for a long time when I check on it, then after a while it will tell me it was "avoided" (don't remember exact langage) because of a bad connection. This is obviously a problem.
2. My old piece of crap was giving the Verizon people problems when trying to switch my contacts over (one of the other employees was already using that transfer machine thing they have) so he had to export all my contacts as .vcf's and I had to download each one individually. This is fine except now it's stuck and won't delete or finish downloading the rest of my contacts (happens to be from the R's on). I have been able to download apps since then just fine. Everytime I go in to delete an item to see if I can get it to jump start it literally does nothing. I cancel the download and lo and behold, it's still there.
I really love this phone I just really need these problems fixed. This is my first smart phone so I admit I'm not incredbily familiar with the platform, but I am decently computer savvy so I'm just entering in a wrong password or something silly like that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
