Now that Odin v1.81 is out should it be used to flash all versions of OS as well as modems? Or is this just for Gingerbread versions and we should continue to use v1.61 for Froyo? I also saw Odin v1.82 mentioned at XDA but I can't seem to find it now.

Just trying to sort this all out as there are now multiple versions of Odin and CWM.

You can still use the old Odin v1.61 to flash things or you can start using Odin v1.81 included with the latest GB EF02 leak.

Just make sure as always you select Auto Reboot only and still use the PDA and pit slots as indicated. I believe as of right now the only reason to use the new Bootloader slot in v1.81 is when flashing the new Gingerbread EF02 leak and you would be placing the "debugkernel.tar" file there as shown in the installation screen shots I provided.

If ever in doubt please ask.

Where would one find the latest odin versions?
I know you can definitely get it with the EF02 gingerbread leak download. Once you unzip that download, the odin installer package will be in that folder and can be loaded seperately without loading gingerbread.

You will find the link here. As xalky said, just unzip the download and you will find Odin v1.81. There are a couple of even newer versions floating around on XDA but they seem to be for specific EF02 ROM's.
