Odin stuck on Qscbl when flashing stock gingerbread zip on BST

Re: Odin stuck on Qscbl when flashing stock gingerbread zip on BS

How long does it take to flash stock gingerbread with odin for boost mobile?

I hope you aren't using my odin images, they are meant for Sprint. You may brick by flashing them.. If not, ours flashed very quickly for everything except /system and /data becuase both were over 100MB un-compressed.

Yeah I noticed when i seen the sprint ID and Hotspot. But a go on the stock ed23 tar, with the carrier saying sprint and mms not working. Do you or anyone else have the stock froyo or GingerB inmage for Boost?

Not yet. Once PhoeniX 0.3 is out I'll try to put up stock non and pre-rooted for both. I have a dump, but it currently includes someones /data directory, so I can't release that yet.

Is the stock image ruined? I have to send my replenish back to Sprint, but I can't get it back to an actual stock - even if I odin back to the Stock image, the baseband is all screweed up and shows "Gingerbread" when I'm pretty sure it should show 2.2 ..

am I SOL ?

Hope I've explained it in detail enough.

thanks,

I never posted a Froyo image. I posted GB's EK18. Shabby had an Froyo ED23 that only included boot and /system, but that's as close as you could get. Plus, if you were on PhoeniX your filesystem converted to ext4 and no odin image included /cache. It would still be ext4 and therefore fail to mount. If you can wait long enough, I can provide stock Sprint images in a CWM format.

oh, no. that's fine. Thank you for responding so quickly. I think you've answered me already in the other thread. I can scratch this idea. I'd rather have a family member running your ROM than Sprint Stock (memory hog ) rom hah.

Re: Odin stuck on Qscbl when flashing stock gingerbread zip on BS

You're not the only person to question returning to stock though, and it's a good idea for those who need to take it to Sprint for servicing. Though if it's to the point that you can't flash via usb at that point, you're pretty much screwed. ;)
