OEM charger not recognized any more

Today my phone's battery got down to 25% and I plugged it into my car charger and it didn't show it charging. So I then took it inside and it started charging and then all of a sudden just stopped. I just updated to 8.1 late this well via sideloading it. I have an unlocked version pixel 2XL and using the Sprint network. I can plug it into my wife's charger for her pixel 2 and it is working for now. Anyone else have an issue?

Did you try another cable in your charger to make sure it's not the cable?

I did, that's what's is strange about it. Both my car and my original charger just stopped working at essentially the same time. Thinking it might have something to do with the update.

If it were the update, I think it wouldn’t work with your wife’s charger.

When I had the original pixel, my brick stopped working after a few months.

The charger still works with my wife's pixel though.
